Man Behind a Mask

This is my character Lander. He used to be the main character in a story I had up in my head, but I'll never do anything with that story. I decided to add him to Immortal Tears instead, cause I love this character so darn much. lol but he's a minor character now.

In this world I imagined up for the story, there are no such stories as vampires, werewolves, and other fun stuff like that, but in his other story, Lander is a vampire (no, he doesn't sparkle). I wanted to keep that essence of him, so I created a new concept for my story:

In the story, there is a time where there is hell on earth, and demons roam at night to feed on helpless souls, and sometimes take humans live into the underworld for experimentation. Such experiments result in half-demons humans call "blood suckers" and "flesh eaters." Lander becomes a "blood sucker," bearing the tell tail signs such as reddened eyes that look bloodshot, sharp fangs, and a thirst for blood. His bite cannot turn humans into half demons such as he, but turn the human into a target for the next demon feed. Lander wears this mask to protect him from harsh ridicule and rejection from the general populace.

Yeah, the mask was inspired by the ever nasty fruit fly. lol i dunno why either...
