She looked down at the key enclosed in amber and wondered why she had to suffer this fate. If she dies, the world dies with her.
So, I finished her. This is my original character, Amber. The key is set in amber to remind her parents the value of life because they were consumed in the temptation to use a set of magical keys to rule the world. They had no intention of the stone being fused to her sternum, that was a product of a worker's strike against her parents. She doesn't remember that day, and she's very confused by the stone. She also thinks the magical power she has was always there, but it's actually the key. I don't know what kind of power she has yet...
So that's just the gist of the story. There's a LOT more to it, but I figured I would spare you.
This was done on bristol board and in Prismacolor markers. My first time using this medium in color, and it was very fun. I might use it again for something else. It took about 20 hours on and off.
yeah I briefly considered making it for a steampunk cosplay. Then I figured it's probably a little on the impossible side. I'm glad you like it though! I was worried about it for a while.
