Evangeline's dresses

I am going to cosplay my character Evangeline, and I already have her "work" dress, but I wanted something for like convention balls or something semi-formal to formal for the character. I've developed these two ideas.

The semi-formal dress is on the left. I dunno what colors to choose for this one...I know I don't want red or black because it is overdone for neo-victorian attire.

The formal dress is on the right and middle. I know I'd like to use my corset for this dress, which ties down the colors to black and a grey-blue color.

I'd like to know which one you think would be the coolest to make. They're all based on actual patterns I've found, and most of the modification is in the skirts.

If you say the semi-formal, please give your opinion as to what colors!
