Description
An original character of mine, of which has no name currently. I call her Eidolon for the time being. She'll end up with a generic name.
Eidolon lives in our future with glorious technology and the uprising of missing persons. When she is kidnapped, she discovers that not every missing person goes missing, but is taken to another dimension to protect the human race from things unseen by the human eye.
I would love to start a web comic with this story, but I am such a slacker when it comes to backgrounds.
So what do you think of this type of coloring? This has been my second time trying it, and I think this is more successful. It's also very fast. I think this took me all of about an hour to color (the sketch was a 10 minute sketch).
I used no textures and no special brushes. Go me!

Totally just noticed that you said you used no textures for this one. 
In that case, how exactly did you make it look so textured?
Also, did you know that in the full view, you can see another face where the flap of hair covers the character's ear? I think you should work that into the story.
