Adorable Process by Elorviel Adorable Process by Elorviel
This was more like a happy accident with the whole fake watercolor look. I just wanted to show everyone how I did it just in case anyone wanted to try.

Original deviation can be found here: [link]

Now go off and fake a traditional medium using photoshop!

hi, I have some question.
1. what brush that you use for this sketch?? bcos when I try it use standar brush (19px) and I set it like your tutorial, it didnt change like yours.. (pict 3)

2. how to blend the color like this?

thanks for answer my question.. and love your artwork :D

size 5 hard round brush set to 20% opacity for sketch. For blending the colors, it helps to use a tablet or a cintiq where the pressure you apply with your pen will affect the strength of the color you apply. This allows for better blending, because it's like having a low opacity, but not really. If you're still having difficulties blending, set the brush to a lower opacity and apply the color in strokes that would contour the area correctly.

lol I hope this helps you!
